Another lamp beads color inconsistencies , but also makes lighting manufacturers produced the same batch of finished light color appears inconsistent volume hours, you can pick BIN, heavy, pick BIN costs are very high . So how to meet the LED reliability, so LED lamp beads mixed BIN, no longer pick BIN is a problem.
I designed this mixed BIN way , have been exported to North America more than 1.5 million downlights verification is effective and reliable , so there are many people in the industry to ask me this question , I always say this is a plant technology secrets, never openly talked about . But now figured out that if this approach can be extended to allow people to use LED lights are reliable and can be considered as a point of my contribution to the LED industry .
LED lamp has a voltage , color, brightness three kinds BIN, practice in the production of lighting process, if not mixed BIN, lamps produced, brightness, color varies, the same batch of lamps together apparent inconsistency color . But to use mixed BIN is a technical problem , a lot of LED packaging manufacturers have introduced a mixed BIN program, but is heavy, most can not achieve mass production . To solve this problem , the need to focus on the voltage , color, brightness, three kinds BIN description :
First, the voltage is mixed BIN
1, because the characteristics of LED lamp , lamp beads encapsulated same batch , the same current , the voltage varies. So when different voltage and LED in parallel, there will be a larger problem :
a, is now the most commonly used 5630 lamp beads (3.0V ~ 3.4V @ 100mA) for example .
b, The characteristics of the two devices connected in parallel across the line voltage , i.e. V1 = V2;
c, this time LED1 and LED2 lamp beads in parallel , the voltage measured two lamp beads will become approximately 3.1V, the current to rise at this time LED1 , LED2 to reduce the current in order to achieve this balance ;

e, so the reality is that in the parallel case , LED1 lamp beads Power = 3.0 * 130mA = 0.39W, LED2 LED power = 3.2 * 70mA = 0.224W
f, LED1 lamp beads power, high temperature will be high . Diode characteristics are : the higher the temperature , the lower the voltage , causes the current to equalize the voltage across the need to increase . The result is a vicious cycle , eventually leading to low voltage LED lamp rapid damage.
g, and most convenient way to examine this question , the LED brightness to the brightness is low, or normal brightness when using sunglasses observation, not the same as the voltage lamp beads mixed together, the brightness of lamp beads obviously not the same . Low-voltage LED lamp beads brighter than the high voltage . Especially the two lamp beads voltage difference is large, this problem is more apparent.
